Our Leadership Story

From their roots in Texas, Daniel Hayes and Jeremy Layton identified a pressing need for a modern approach to occupational health services across industrial sectors. With decades of experience in emergency medical services and workplace safety, they envisioned a flexible remote clinic solution to the challenges businesses face in managing employee health and workplace medical care. Determined to create real change, they founded 1st Response Occupational to redefine the occupational health industry through innovative workplace clinic services.

By integrating advanced telehealth services with our occupational clinic presence, they've made it easier than ever for employees across construction sites, oil fields, distribution centers, wind farms, and general industries to access healthcare professionals for both personal and work-related needs. This innovative approach to occupational health not only streamlines care delivery at every clinic but also addresses personal health issues before they impact workplace safety. Through our workplace clinic model, employees receive immediate attention from qualified healthcare professionals who understand the unique demands of industrial environments.

Through their leadership, 1st Response Occupational empowers businesses across all industrial sectors to take a proactive stance in workforce health. By providing comprehensive OSHA-compliant occupational health support through workplace clinic models, they are setting a new standard in protecting America's industrial workforce with expert healthcare professionals trained in first aid and emergency response capabilities. The journey of Daniel Hayes and Jeremy Layton, from EMS professionals to pioneering occupational health business owners, reflects their commitment to transforming occupational health services and workplace medical care — and their mission is far from over.
